Hey there,
Glad you are here.
Let’s set you up for success. Start with some basic baby steps…..
Do you wish to make a small change in your diet that will have a HUGE positive impact on your weight, energy, stamina, mental clarity and health?
80% of our diets consist of fats/oils and grains—–from whole food sources, processed food, or restaurants— what kind and amount of fats/oils and grains we consume either count towards our health or cause dis-ease!
To help you get started right away, I want to share these gifts when implemented, are impactful and high payoff:
Gift #1
Principle of Good Fats/Oils
Here is your Which Fats to Eat, Which to Ditch cheat sheet & Fatty acids in degree of saturation visual —-for those of us who are very visual (that’s me)—as gifts from me to you to help you switch to Good fats/oils.
Most of us know bad fats contribute towards heart disease, inflammation, obesity and cancer. The problem is who is defining what is “bad” fat. And most are confused about the kind of fats that are good for our bodies because misinformation and disinformation abounds. Many don’t realize the impact it has on our hormones.
Amount and TYPES of fat you eat has an impact on your overall health especially your hormones. Eating the wrong kind of fats/oil can have a detrimental effect on your hormones such as Anxiety . Depression . Low Self Esteem . PMS . Hot Flashes . Sleeplessness . Forgetfulness . Low Libido . Less Vitality . Weight Gain . Joint Pain . Hair Loss….to mention a few.
Seed or vegetable oils are adulterated, rancid and damaged. These fats are one of the most dangerous foods that we can eat.
And what’s crazy is that many of the most dangerous fats are the ones that we’ve been told to eat to be healthy.
We’ve been taught that all vegetable fats are good.
But in fact, these are some of the most poisonous things that we can put into our bodies.
The worst types of fats are hydrogenated fats, which are made by forcing hydrogen gas into oil at a very high temperature. Examples of hydrogenated fats are margarine and shortening.
Use these good fats and oils to modulate or regulate the expression of some of the markers like SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin) which go through natural cycle in peri through menopause. Leverage the good fats to bring these markers into balance.
Go through your pantry and refrigerator and toss the unhealthy fats and oils from the list. Replace them with healthy fats. Be sure to choose ones that are organic, biodynamic or traditional processed.
Good fats and oils are needed for the production of sex hormones, balanced hormones and weight, strong bones, mental clarity, calm nervous system, steady happy mood and so much more.
Gift #2
Here is a copy of the first two chapters of my book your Fifty Shades of Grain: The Truth about Eating Bread and Feeling great so you can start your journey of living in joy vs deprivation.
By the way, did you know most cooking oils on the market are generated from grains/seeds. This is how these gifts are tied together.
Your body loves and actually needs the nutrients from it but it hates it when you eat the wrong kind.
Choosing to eat or not eat grains isn’t so black and white. There are many shades of gray to consider when choosing which ones to avoid and which ones may be safe and healthy to consume.
This book offers convincing evidence from both the scientific community, wisdom of our ancestors and the same eating practices of our world’s Centenarians who currently live and thrive in the rare Blue Zones areas.
Discover how to use the healthy secrets of our ancestral wisdom and apply these practices to eating and living healthier in our modern world.
Let’s talk about a food product- the big elephant in the room- that is made with grains.
Bread; most have a love and hate relationship with it.
My mission in writing this book wasn’t an excuse to eating bread.
Eating the wrong kind of bread can suck the life out of you. Consuming the wrong kind of bread can literally deplete your energy.
Choosing the right kind can actually increase your vitality…..if your system and gut are not compromised. Properly prepared bread turns a previously indigestible grass into a nutritious and satisfying food.
In this book you’ll find out how to source and/or make bread that is tasty and nourishing. Eating bread can be healthy IF we follow our ancestral wisdom.
In chapter 1, you will learn how through Epigenetic, we HAVE control over how our genes are expressed vs being victim to our genes. Choose to follow ancestral wisdom vs letting someone else be in charge of your health.
So if you have control over how your genes are expressed, you have control over your health! This is a huge part of the paradigm shift helping us move from just following the latest “data” to re-remembering the forgotten commandments to help our body’s innate and divinely designed ability to be healthy, vibrant and happy using universally accepted, timeless, and immutable Natural Laws.
In the second chapter, you’ll get a glimpse of what the evolution of grains, why did our ancestors tolerate grain and now we have a hard time. You’ll learn the difference between Ancient Grain and Modern Grain and how the practice of farming, harvest, storing and processing the grains has changed over time contributing to modern dis-eases.
To read all the “Shades of Gray”, you may purchase the book “Fifty Shades of Grain: The Truth about Eating Bread and Feeling Great” by clicking HERE so you can “have your bread and eat it too”.
